Utiel-Requena: Only DO producing wines non-stop during the last 2500 years
DO Utiel-Requena is a small plateau in the interior of the province of Valencia, at 70 kms from the mediterranean sea and 700 meters above sea level with a surface of vineyards of 40.000 hectares. The land has Mediterranean characteristics but continental influences, being the local autochthon grape the BOBAL and GARNACHA TINTORERA, both used in our wines.
Bru & JL Murciano
Bruno completed his sommelier training in Toulouse. In 2001 he began a brilliant career, that led him to be recognized as the Best Sommelier in Spain. In 2005 he finally decided to start his personal ambitious project with six hectares of old Bobal vineyards that are between 70 and 100 years old (registered as the the oldest vineyards in Caudete de las Fuentes). Now, with the idea of creating a final product with added value, Bruno has teamed up with his brother José Luis Murciano. Together they undertake a family project that is focused in the uniqueness and personality of their wines.
